The Kuranda Visitor Information Centre is your first stop on the way to the Atherton Tablelands/Cairns Highlands and the Savannah Way.

The Kuranda Visitor Information Centre is a Tourism Queensland accredited visitor information centre. The centre is located in Centenary Park at the top end of Coondoo Street, just a ten minute walk from the Railway station and Skyrail. With the yellow i sign you will be sure of a genuine quality information provider.

With a wealth of local and regional knowledge, our volunteers will be able to advise and help you plan your time in the village and assist in touring advice throughout the region. Most of our volunteers have lived in the village for many years and can provide you with comprehensive and accurate information on all the attractions. There is an extensive brochure display that also includes free maps and regional brochures from around Queensland.

Our Centre also offers locally produced souvenirs, books and art displays by local artists, free wifi, free water, wheelchair and stroller hire and a children’s corner.
